Description. Here we see Shō-Kannon ("pure and sacred" form of Kannon) holding a lotus bud in the right hand and forming an inverted "Fear Not" Mudra with the left; see Kannon Top page for more on iconography. Kannon also serves as patron of people born in the Zodiac Year of the Rat.
